Using a step-by-step process, with easy-to-follow templates this seminar will walk participants through the review cycle in a systematic way.

Practical examples will be used, and there will be some time for discussion and sharing of experiences and ideas within the group.

  • Understand the legislative framework that guides review
  • Understand the difference between Strategic, Planned and Spontaneous Review
  • Develop a shared vision for your organisation
  • Use that vision to help determine key strategic goals
  • Undertake an analysis of your internal and external environment (SWOT analysis)
  • Differentiate between routine tasks and ‘true’ planning
  • Turn your strategic thinking into an ‘Action Plan’
  • Keep your strategic plan current through regular review
  • Develop a timetable for planned reviews
  • Recognise triggers for spontaneous review
  • Work through the 5 STEP REVIEW CYCLE: Prepare; Gather; Analyse; Decide; Evaluate
  • Include a wider range of perspectives in your reviews by using effective consultation, best practice and comparative analysis
  • Ensure the results of review are turned into sustainable actions
  • Link review to your planning systems
  • Document the entire process in a manageable way

This seminar has been specifically designed for all levels of staff in early childhood education centres who are involved in review.

If Kurtovich Consulting cancels this seminar for any reason, all fees will be refunded. If a registrant cancels prior to 14 days before the seminar, they will receive a refund of half the registration fee. After that, no refunds will be given, but a registrant may substitute another person at no extra cost. Registrants who fail to attend the seminar will not be given a refund.
